Research conducted recently of just how social support systems lead students to define, see, and be involved in “hooking upwards” showed that while folks was speaking about it, nobody is exactly certain what it indicates.
The research, done by Amanda Holman, a doctoral pupil on University of Nebraska- Lincoln, and Dr. Alan Sillars associated with institution of Montana, ended up being done on 274 students at a sizable community institution.
