I think it’s fascinating. I expect this type of function to appear on Facebook and other social networking sites down the road. This is huge. It really reminds me of an old ICQ feature – Start random chat. Basically instead of IM with one of your friends you could have started and IM session with a random person online. I actually really liked this feature. It allowed me to kill some boring time by talking with complete strangers who sometime were very interesting people from all around the globe.It’s not a replacement or a competitor to Facebook.
