Second modification enthusiasts were adding a front side for their right-to-bear-arms fight: blades. In particular, the infamous switchblade, that has been prohibited by federal law since 1958. Exactly why all of the fuss? Well, everything goes to racism, xenophobia, class warfare, and political theatre. Sound familiar? It’s no happenstance this was the knife Freddie Gray had been detained to carry.
