Concern: “could it be good to own near friendships with unbelievers?”
Response: As Christians, we need to constantly face temptations therefore the attacks associated with the globe around us all. Every thing we come across, read, do, hear, place in our bodies, etc., impacts us somehow. Thats really why, to keep up a close relationship with Jesus, we need to put away our old methods of doing things the items we view on television, old bad practices (extortionate ingesting, cigarette smoking, etc.), the actions we be involved in, as well as the individuals we invest our time with. Folks are divided in to only two groups, people who are part of the globe and its own ruler, Satan, and the ones whom participate in Jesus (Acts 26:18). Those two categories of folks are described with regards to opposites all through the Bible; e.g., those in darkness/those into the light; individuals with eternal life/those with eternal death; those people who have comfort with God/those who will be at war with Him; those that believe the truth/those whom think the lies; those regarding the slim way to salvation/those from the broad road to destruction, and a whole lot more.
