Abstract
The educational importance of non-relational intimate programs for temporary erotic encounters on college or university campuses, combined with the endurance of gendered practices for heterosexual relationship formation, complicates college students’ curiosity about committed, monogamous, and gender egalitarian connections. This document extracts on interview with 56 heterosexual undergraduates many years 18–23 with the University of Illinois at Chicago to examine how people respond to and experience loyal affairs in addition to the role of gendered techniques in their creation.
