Iceland quickly believed they have made history by electing European countries’s first female-majority parliament – before a recount confirmed it had just fallen brief.
Some 30 of the 63 chair (47.6%) comprise claimed by lady.
But earlier on effects have confirmed females winning 33 seats (52percent).
No European nation enjoys broken the 50% threshold, with Sweden coming closest at 47%, based on facts from Inter Parliamentary Union.
